Clandon Park is a Palladian
mansion built in the early 1730s and houses a fine collection of 18th century
furniture, porcelain and textiles. The house is noted
for its two - storied marble hall, one of the finest examples
of its kind in Europe. The gardens were laid out by 'Capability' Brown.
The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment Museum is based at Clandon Park.
Clandon Park is a National Trust property with free entry for National Trust members.
