Chastleton is a Jacobean country house
built of Cotswold stone between 1607 and 1612 by a prosperous wool merchant.
Chastleton was owned by the same family until 1991 and the
house remains essentially as it was 400 years ago.
Chastleton House is a National Trust property with free entry for National Trust members.
