Stansted Park
was rebuilt following a disastrous fire in 1900. The present mansion and estate became the home of the Earls of Bessborough in 1924.
The elegant Regency Chapel of St Paul stained glass windows 'tripple-arch'd and diamonded' inspired the poet John Keats.
