Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway.
As you ride the Embsay
and Bolton Abbey Railway enjoy the Yorkshire Dales scenery from a
steam or diesel train. Bolton Abbey, a ruin of a
12th century priory, is a mile and a half footpath walk from the station.
Throughout the year there are special events such as Days out with Thomas, All Aboard with Ivor the Engine, 1940s Weekend, Harvest of Steam,
Diesel Gala and Santa Trains.
